Arcade Fire - Wake Up
At first I thought this song was about mistakes and getting over them. But after the discussion, I learned that this song is about schools and how they kill children’s creativity which was pretty interesting to find out because I never knew Arcade Fire made songs with meanings like that.
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
I feel that this song is about how everybody has a story and they all feel lonely but telling those stories bring people together.
Mumford and Sons - After the Storm
To defeat your greatest struggles, you must have courage. This song is about keeping your eye on the prize and never forgetting what you’re doing everything for. Climb that hill and see the happiness and great things come your way.
If you don’t know this song, you’ve missed out on life.

Mumford and Sons - Roll Away Your Stone
I feel that the stone he’s talking about is the thing or that someone that is holding him back from living his life to the fullest but the’s scared of the darkness of the unknown behind it. When he does get rid of that stone, he’ll have his soul back and he’ll be living his dreams.
Coldplay - Fix You
To me, this song is all about perseverance and that no matter how hard anything becomes, keep on going and never give up, because at the end you will get something good out of it no matter what. Always have your eyes on the prize.
Lights will guide you home
and ingnite your bones
I will try to fix you
Coldplay - The Scientist
This song reminds me of the past and all the great and amazing people I’ve met along the way. I remember the good times and the bad times (if there were any). To me, I feel that this song is about moving on when you loose someone or something close to you. Loosing anything is very hard and not an easy path to be on because memories hurt. You regret things you’ve never done or never said. You want those chances back to do them all over again.
Whenever I listen to this song, memories of my grandfather come back, who passed away last year. He was very close to my heart and I regret a lot of things I’ve never said or done, but mostly I remember the good times we’ve had and it makes me happy. RIP Daddy.
